The School of Architecture, Building and Environment (SABE) at Technological University Dublin is pleased to announce a "Call for Papers" for the International Congress on Architectural Technology (ICAT) 2027, taking place on Friday, 15th January 2027, at TU Dublin.

Conference Theme:

"The Architectural Technologist as a Technical Specialist in Building Design"

ICAT 2027 will bring together researchers, academics, architectural technologists, and industry professionals to explore and critically examine the evolving role of the Architectural Technologist as a technical specialist in building design. The congress will showcase leading research, professional practice, and innovation across the built environment.

We warmly invite contributions from both academia and practice that engage with the conference theme and advance knowledge in architectural technology.

• Notification of Abstract Acceptance: Monday, 11th May 2026

• Final Paper Submission Deadline: Monday, 12th October 2026

• Camera-Ready Paper Submission: Monday, 26th October 2026
